How can you support us?

We need your support to help children in Latin America and implement projects with local partners!

There are several ways you can help us to help others.

Organize a fundraiser for NPNP

You can mobilize your friends, family, colleagues, or school to collect donations for our projects in Latin America. Every euro collected goes directly to specific programs for children: educational workshops, community activities, etc.

To organize your fundraising campaign, you can, for example:

  • Organize a charity sale (cakes, handicrafts, etc.);
  • Organize a sporting or cultural event (run, tournament, concert, show) and donate the registration fees or admission charges to NPNP;
  • launch an online campaign via your social networks or crowdfunding platforms to reach a wider audience;

We advise and support you throughout your initiative to help you organize your fundraising campaign efficiently.

Donations

Your donations enable us to immediately support our work with disadvantaged children, young people, and families. The choice is yours:

  • One-time donation
  • Regular donation
    In Luxembourg, your donations are tax deductible, so you can support our work and benefit from a tax advantage at the same time—provided that the total amount of your donations per year is at least €120 and does not exceed 20% of your total taxable net income. After you make your donation, we will send you a tax receipt.
    • Payconiq
    • Bank transfer / Standing order

Include NPNP in your will

If you decide to bequeath part of your estate to us, you will enable NPNP to plan for the long term. This simple and customizable step ensures that your commitment will continue to make a difference for future generations of children. We can assist you with the practical and legal aspects to make this step easier for you.

What is a legacy?

A legacy is a provision you include in your will to transfer all or part of your assets to NPNP. Transfer part of it to NPNP. You decide what you would like to bequeath (money, real estate, stocks, etc.).

In Luxembourg, you can choose between different forms of legacy :

  • Legacy as universal heir : You bequeath your entire estate (or a very large portion of it) to NPNP, but this option is only possible if you have no children (“heirs entitled to a compulsory portion”).
  • Legacy as part of your universal inheritance: You bequeath part (e.g., 10%, a percentage, or specific assets) of your estate to NPNP. This option is also possible if you have children, but the “disposable portion” must be taken into account (see below).
  • Special legacy: You bequeath a specific asset (real estate, sum of money, works of art, etc.) to NPNP.

The “statutory share” of the heirs (descendants)

The descendants are “beneficiaries of a compulsory portion”: This means that a portion of your assets is reserved for them by law and cannot be bequeathed in full to others (e.g., an NGO).

The remainder, known as the “disposable portion,” is the portion that you can freely bequeath (e.g., to NPNP).

How you can bequeath something to NPNP: practical steps

In your will, you can name NPNP as the beneficiary of a portion of your estate. You can specify the percentage, the type of assets, or simply “everything I wish to donate to social causes.”

You can write a holographic will yourself or consult a notary for a notarized will.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions: we are here to make this process as easy as possible.

Einer nahestehenden Person gedenken

You can honor the memory of a loved one by turning this tribute into a gesture of solidarity. By asking your friends and family to support NPNP, you are directly contributing to improving the lives of the children and families in need whom we support in Latin America.

Here’s how to proceed:

Please specify NPNP as the selected organization in the obituary and provide our bank details for donations.

Please inform us about the event so that we can track the contributions and thank the donors.

Every week, we will send you a list of the people who have made donations in honor of your loved one, including all the necessary information (last name, first name, address, donation amount) so that you can thank them personally.

All donors will receive a thank-you letter from NPNP describing the impact of their support.

With this gesture, you can commemorate a loved one and at the same time provide long-term support for the projects we carry out for disadvantaged children and young people in Latin America.
